ARTIST BIO: Irish K. Money

I have been working in the field of sand-carved glass for 30 years. Art education was my chosen field, when I attended classes at Marshall University in Huntington W. Va.  Charcoal, Pastel, Pen and Ink, and figure drawing were acquired  accredited classes at the Huntington Gallery.  As a teenager I worked as a sketch artist (before computers) on a small local Flatwoods Ky. paper.  Marriage, kids, and life put a temporary stop to my art. But it did not put a stop to my love of art!

My art glass today, takes it roots from my  long time obsession with drawing and etching. Today, I produce intricate and complicated glass designs; mixes of  multi dimensional mosaic with sand-carving.

I am currently exploring polymer clay. I love the freedom of the clay.
